August of last year the stakeholders of Enyezini CDSS in rural Mzimba North of Malawi set out to build a community library. We successfully received a Let Girls Learn grant and raised additional funds through our generous supporters, YOU! We received the funds just in time to purchase the supplies we needed before I suddenly left Malawi. Since then, the staff has been hard at work constructing this building, ensuring Enyezini provides a safe place for their students and the community to study! In two short months, the building structure is complete and the roof is set to be added at the beginning of term 3. I am so incredibly proud of my team in Malawi and their dedication to the students, the development at Enyezini, and their constant communication with me about the project!
